Understanding Major Depressive & Anxiety Disorders
Learning Objectives: Participants will learn how to identify presentation and diagnosis of major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders, describe clinical course and treatment options & recognize key indicators for referral to a higher level of care.
Speaker: Dr. Liveoak is a board certified psychiatric pharmacist and is the psychiatric clinical pharmacy specialist at the Tristar Centennial Parthenon Pavillion in Nashville, TN. She received her Doctpr of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in Auburn, AL. She is the program director for the HCA and Tristar Centennial Medical Center's post-graduate psychiatry specialty residency. Dr. Liveoak is a professional member of College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists.
Dr. Mitchell is a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Resident practicing through HCA Healthcare and the University of Tennessee at TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavillion in Nashville, TN. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia's College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA and subsequently completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
Meetings are on the 4th FRIDAY of the even months (except in December)
